Distance Education

The Distance Learning Program

The New England ATTC will be launching a state-of-the-art Distance Learning Program (DLP) designed to offer a broad range of addiction-related treatment, prevention and recovery courses that can be accessed at a time that is convenient for the learner (self-directed) and are geared to practitioners at all levels—from those requiring entry-level courses to those seeking more advanced options.  This innovative system will enable learners as well as agencies to select either instructor led or self-directed courses tracked through an individualized training plan.

The new program will host a variety of trainings subjects which will include high demand topics as well as updated content and combination of these topics (hybrid courses) based on the diverse needs of the substance use treatment workforce. We will also offer on-demand courses tailored to the needs of our training partners. New features will include the use of Webinars and a proven multi-format training approach which will be comprised of online, face to face, and web-based conference training and support.
