RMC Research Corporation assisted the Northwest Frontier Addiction Technology Transfer Center (NFATTC) in surveying substance abuse agencies and treatment professionals in 2005. The “Substance Abuse Workforce Survey 2005” assessed current workforce development issues in the Northwest and Hawaii. Survey instruments were sent to each treatment agency in the Northwest Frontier region. Instruments were completed by both agency directors and staff.
Northwest Frontier ATTC produces a monthly publication called Addiction Messenger that communicates tips and information on best practices for addiction professionals in a brief format. Continuing education hours (NAADAC approved) are available for readers who read a series of three issues and take a pre-post test.
