The Commission for the Advancement of Addiction Professionals (CAAP) serves as the advisory board for the states of Alaska, Hawai’i, Oregon and Washington. The 25 member commission meets twice annually and includes representatives of each SSA, provider associations, credentialing boards, addiction educators, recovery support organizations, and criminal justice agencies. CAAP was founded in 1996 by NFATTC and has been instrumental in forming workforce development plans, designing the workforce survey, and collaborating on numerous NFATTC products.
