The recently released 2008 N-SSATS report provides national and state-level data on the number of clients in substance abuse treatment and the characteristics of treatment facilities, including the programs and services provided for 2003 to 2008. Trends in client and facility characteristics are also available for this period. The 2008 N-SSATS data and documentation files are available for download and online analysis through Substance Abuse & Mental Health Data Archive (SAMHDA) [LINK - www.icpsr.umich.edu/SAMHDA/index.html ].
