Given the mounting pressures to contain health care costs and the increasing emphasis on outcome funding, entities connected to the prevention and treatment of substance use disorders have to focus on improvements in practice that positively impact client outcomes. In order to continue as a profession, the field must improve, adapt and constantly make the best use of what others learn and discover.

The ATTC Network is committed to supporting the field in technology transfer efforts and implemeting change. An important way to shorten the 17-year average is to develop change agents within the field who can implement organizational change strategies and other technology transfer tools in their organizations.
