In recognition of Recovery Month 2010, the Addiction Technology Transfer Center (ATTC) National Office, in partnership with Faces & Voices of Recovery and National Family Dialogue, invites families of a loved one struggling with addiction or in long-term recovery to share YOUR STORY of recovery.
Family members have a unique perspective to share about their own journey. Their stories highlight addiction as a family disease and offer hope to those who are looking for new purpose and stability in life.
This year's essay contest is open to any family member of a loved one struggling with addiction or in long-term recovery. There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards: First place: $500; second place: $250; third place: $100.

All entries must be received by midnight, Central Standard Time, on October 15, 2010.
