Mission & Vision

The purpose of the Addiction Technology Transfer Center (ATTC) Network is to develop and strengthen the workforce which provides addictions treatment and recovery services to those entering the treatment system. The Network consists of 14 Regional Centers and a National Office, and together we take a unified approach in delivering cutting-edge products, services and resources to support a powerful workforce...a workforce that has the potential to transform lives.

The mission and vision of the ATTC Network provide the foundation for how we serve the workforce, and the guidelines for how we operate in our communities.

Mission

  • To increase the knowledge and skills of addiction treatment practitioners,
  • Heighten the awareness, knowledge and skills of all professionals who intervene in the lives of people with substance use disorders,
  • Foster regional and national alliances among practitioners, researchers, policy makers, funders and the recovery community.

Vision

The vision of the ATTC Network is to unify science, education and service to transform lives through evidence-based and promising treatment and recovery practices in a recovery-oriented system of care.
